REFLECTING THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
Assembly & Faith-Sharing
Groups
How
much do you desire “to inherit the eternal life”?
How does this desire shape the way you live?
What “one
thing” do you lack to follow Jesus
more completely?
Where/with
what to you need to practice, “Go, sell...and
give to the poor”?
What
possessions (relationships, things) possess you and keep
your heart divided?
Hospitality Ministers
What
is “given up” by being hospitable? And what
is “the hundred times more now” that is found
in hospitality?
Music
Ministers
In what ways might Jesus be calling you to dispossess yourselves
as music ministers? Is there anything you cling to in this
ministry which in fact gets in the way of your single-minded
following of Jesus?
Altar
Ministers
Consider how the demands of serving and being servant require
more of you than “the commandments.”
Lectors
What kind of “wisdom of heart” is gained by the
numbering of your days (psalm)? Consider how this wisdom
(“in view of her”; first reading) guides you
to “a hundred times more now...and eternal life.”
Eucharistic
Ministers
While “it is hard to enter the kingdom of God,” how
does the Eucharist announce to you “all things are
possible for God”? How do you distribute this good
news to others?
