REFLECTING THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
Assembly & Faith-Sharing
Groups
In
what ways does your “hardness of heart” interfere
with God’s plan?
What
have children taught you about how to enter the kingdom of
God?
With
who do you need to replace “testing” and “hardness
of your heart” with Jesus’ posture of embrace
and blessing?
Hospitality Ministers
Consider
how the blessing and embrace within the warmth of hospitality
softens hardness of hearts. Consider then how
hospitality announces the way to the kingdom.
Music Ministers
When
you experience rifts in music ministry, either among yourselves
or between yourselves and the community, how does
this gospel call you to healing? How can you let Christ transform
hardness of heart into the gentleness and receptivity of
a child?
Altar Ministers
In
what ways does service embody the posture of the child and
the way to “accept the kingdom of God”?
Lectors
In
what ways does the Word challenge and heal your testing,
hard heart and replace it with a childlike openness to the
kingdom.
Eucharistic Ministers
Consider how God has gone beyond the original plan (“I
will make a suitable partner”) by Christ himself becoming
our suitable Partner in the Eucharist.
