REFLECTING THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

Assembly & Faith-Sharing Groups
What has happened in your life that leads you to believe that in Jesus “Here is your God. . .he comes to save you” (first reading)?
In what ways does your life disclose who Jesus is?
How frequently do you marvel (“He has done all things well”)

Hospitality Ministers
Consider how your hospitality prepares others for Jesus’ touch that heals and opens their lives.

Music Ministers
It is possible to make so much noise musically that, like the crowd in this gospel reading, you are not paying attention to Jesus even though you are singing his praises. When this happens what do you need to do to move your music-making from “noise” to prayer?

Altar Ministers
Consider the spirit of service when it is a living response to the marvelous deeds of God in your life (“He has done all things well”).

Lectors
How has Jesus opened your ears to his word? How carefully do you listen to God’s word (which is more than reading it) prior to proclaiming it?

Eucharistic Ministers
At Eucharist you distribute the healing Jesus; how do you distribute his healing in the way you live and serve others?

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) — St. Albert’s parish will begin the journey of walking with adults who would like to join the Catholic community. During the year, those interested will come together for catholic faith education and faith sharing with each other. This process of welcome into the Catholic church is called the Rite of Christian Initiation of adults (RICA). If you know adults who would like to join the church or are just interested in learning the faith, please inform them about this opportunity and encourage them to call me at (412)884-7744. All of us, as parishioners, are responsible for spreading the Good News of Jesus.

Baptism Parental Preparation Parent preparation process will begin in September. We encourage parents who are expecting a child in the near future to make arrangements for this process.
