REFLECTIONS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
Assembly & Faith-Sharing
Groups
The
magi’s journey began with God’s first reaching
out to them through the star; my faith journey began with
God’s first reaching out to me through. . .
Like the magi, as I face the great mystery of my “newborn
king,” the treasures I offer him are . . . The way I offer homage to the Lord is. . .
Hospitality Ministers
My
ministry communicates how all are “coheirs, members
of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ
Jesus” (second reading) whenever I. . .
Music Ministers
Martin
Luther taught that the music we sing in worship is only
the return of a gift first given us by God. I/We have
experienced music as a gift from God when. . . I/We return that gift to God when. . .
Altar Ministers
When
I see my serving as my doing for God or others, it looks
and feels like. . . When I see my serving as a response
to
God’s always serving me, it looks and feels like.
. .
Lectors
The “chief
priests and scribes” could quote the
words of the prophet, but they didn’t “go and
search diligently for the child.” My ministry requires
that I know God’s word not for quoting but for living.
The Word I am being challenged to live now is. . .
Eucharistic Ministers
As
I bring the “newborn King’ to the homebound,
I am privileged to witness them “open up their treasures” and “do
him homage.” Their faith has influenced me by. .

Dear
Parishioners, As you make your New Year’s
resolutions and make room for all the new gifts of the season...we
were wondering if one of you might have a gently used computer
for our parish census program. We will be taking the census
in January and then entering it in the computer. It would
be wonderful to have a dedicated computer for this project.
Please contact the rectory if you have a computer you would
like to donate.
Envelopes...An
extra parish share envelope was included in your new packet
for the months of January and February. Please
only use one parish share envelope for each month.
