Stewardship Action Plan

Mission Statement

Called by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, St. Albert the Great Parish is a community of believers seeking to deepen our faith and become more unified in the Body of Christ. We accomplish this through our ministries of Worship, Evangelization, Education, and Service.

Nurtured by the Eucharist, Scripture, Prayer, and Church Teaching, we strive to remain faithful to our calling as a Catholic community, so that Christ’s love might be better proclaimed.

OUR PRIORITIES

Priority #1: Remain faithful to our calling…spreading the Good News by welcoming all and working to initiate them into the sacramental life of the church.

Priority Immediate – Evangelization

We do this now:
  1. With Eucharistic homebound ministers
2. With those who care and groom our church grounds
3. The ongoing development and maintenance of a parish web site.

In the future we would like to consider, among other things:

1. The creation of an Initiation Team, which could include the integration of the parish into the sacramental life of the church.
  2. The revival of a Welcome Committee.
o Welcoming people moving into our community.
o Welcoming new members that formally join our parish.
  3. Additional Eucharistic ministers for the homebound.

This ministry currently has 1 volunteer.
An additional 16 volunteers are needed.
