Fall
sure came up on us very quickly this past week. It had
a lot of us
scrambling for furnace and boiler maintenance.
Our school students, faculty and staff toughed it out until
we could get the boilers serviced and running by about noon
on Tuesday. The boiler and its back-up will be receiving
some much needed and unexpected maintenance to make sure
they get through the upcoming winter and beyond. Even though
it was cold, the fall sky and colors have been beautiful—gotta
look at something when you’re cold!
His House Cleaners are returning! Mark your calendars for
Saturday, November 8. It has always been a great day of fun
and cleaning
for all ages from about 5yrs old on up and it only takes about
4 hours. Over 20 people make the work go quickly - should
even be a bit easier this time with no high cobwebs to look
for and the walls looking so nice and fresh. The House Cleaners
have a great time and the whole parish gets to enjoy their
work. Feel free to give Melodie Pfister a call at 412-882-3293
and let her know you’re interested. There will be reminders
in the bulletin as we get closer to that date.
As the colors of the trees change around us we warm ourselves
on the love of God and remain... |
